PAUL JACONI-BIERY (Producer)

Paul Jaconi-Biery has joined Sean Hanish as his producing partner on
RETURN TO ZERO. Paul brings the experience he has gained running physical production on more than a dozen independent films including “Seeking a Friend for the End of the World” (starring Steve Carrell and Kiera Knightley). In addition, Paul is a talented screenwriter and his excellent command of story and character makes him a creative producer in the truest sense of the term.

 

ED RUBIN (Production Designer)

Emmy Award-winning production designer Ed Rubin has joined our creative team on RETURN TO ZERO. Ed has been nominated for 5 Emmy Awards for shows such as the TV movie version of “Annie” (directed by Rob Marshall) and this year for his work on “American Horror Story”. Ed won his Emmy for the magical art direction on ABC’s “Cinderella”. Ed is also a brilliant painter and an award-winning photographer. We’re thrilled that he has added his incredible talents to our creative team!

 

RONNIE YESKEL & SHARON HOWARD-FIELD (Casting Directors)

Ronnie Yeskel is a multiple-award-winning casting director whose current projects include the 2012 Sundance winner “The Surrogate” starring John Hawkes, Helen Hunt and William H. Macy and the upcoming release “The Factory” starring John Cusack and Jennifer Carpenter. “The Surrogate” not only won the Audience Award but also the Special Jury Prize Dramatic for Ensemble Acting in this year’s Sundance film festival. Prior to this, Ronnie has won numerous awards and received nominations for her groundbreaking casting of “Pulp Fiction” and “Reservoir Dogs” as well as “Igby Goes Down”, “Permanent Midnight” and “Curb Your Enthusiasm”.

Sharon Howard-Field is known for her impeccable taste which is reflected in her current projects which include “King Lear” starring Al Pacino, “The Laureate” with Orlando Bloom and “Wilde Salome” with Al Pacino and Jessica Chastain. Sharon’s previous work includes “Shine”, “The Merchant of Venice”, “Grumpy Old Men” and “The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover”.

 

HARRIS CHARALAMBOUS (Director of Photography)

Harris Charalambous is the Director of Photography on RETURN TO ZERO. After graduating with an MFA from the prestigious American Film Institute, he won two international awards for Cinematography. He was recognized by the ICG “Generation Next: 5 Under 40″ of Cinematographers to look out for. He has photographed feature films of varying production sizes, a multitude of music videos and commercials with such artists as David Gray and actors Val Kilmer, Ving Rhames, James Belushi and Kristen Bell. Charalambous grew up in Cyprus where he developed his creative eye and passion for the moving image. Charalambous is inspired by character driven stories, which is why he was so drawn to this project. With Charalambous’ strong improvisational skills, we know he is best geared to capture the emotional moments that propel this story.

 

PATRIK MILANI (Costume Designer)

Italian stylist and costume designer, Patrik Milani, brings his expertise to Return To Zero. Milani is well known in the commercial world with a voluminous resume working with well-known Hollywood directors Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu, Michael Haussmann, Tony Kay and artist Ari Marcopolous. Milani has worked with musical superstars Nicki Minaj, Ke$ha and Justin Beiber for the MTV VMA’s in 2010. After an exceptional career in New York , Paris, Milan and Los Angeles, it was his work on Tatia Pileva film “Forever” where he met Producer Paul Jaconi-Biery that led him to this film. Patrik felt a deep connection to Sean Hanish’s script and is thrilled to be working with this impressive cast and crew.

 

ANITA BRANDT-BURGOYNE (Editor)

Emmy nominated editor, Anita Brandt-Burgoyne A.C.E., has edited more than 48 films over the past 26 years including many classic titles such as “Legally Blonde”, “Good Burger” and “Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen.” Brandt-Burgoyne graduated Cum Laude from USC’s Film School and is now an active member of the A.C.E. Membership Committee. She has been nominated twice for a American Cinema Editors “Eddie” Award. With Anita’s diverse experience across multiple genres from melodrama to comedy and even animation, as well as her vast experience in different entertainment mediums, whether independent film, studio features, television or documentary, it is obvious Anita is a multi-talented editor and we are proud to have her as part of the team.
